i prepared a mixed drink for zayd on New Year's day (bailey's and almond oil -- side note: finally nagamit ko na din ang shaker. feel ko talaga mag bartender hehe i just wish i had the body of a bartender. oh well! all in due time -- i say!) then i had a glass of red wine. we both raised our glasses and said -- CHERS! (this is how you would say CHEERS in matigas na dila way hehe)
then he asks me, have you ever seen those signs nailed on the lampposts that read Popoy's Tables, Chairs, and Party Needs?
we both laugh.
we raise our glasses once more and say:
Tibbles, chers, and partee nids.
*gulp*
