hitched and then some...

haaay grabe. this last weekend was really hectic for us. to recap:

Friday

We went to the LTO to renew Zayd's driver's license. Malas of all malas, nag overheat yung laminating machine so the 20-minute wait (or so they claim!) turned into more than a day. We'll come back for it on Monday.

We then went to Market! Market! and met up with our couturier. I booked Solemn Vows to do my entourage's gowns. Zayd and I are still contemplating on whether we should buy his barong from here...

Dinner with my Stella Maris friends at Conti's The Fort. I soooo crave for their Baked Salmon and Callos!



after dinner we went for coffee at starbucks then decided to wait out Zayd's birthday at midnight. so we went for a drink at Friday's.

Saturday

A day of pampering at Garden Spa. Haaaay :) (di pala kami busy netong day na to hehe) We went out for dinner to celebrate Zayd's birthday at Hap Chang in Makati. I soooo love their Honey Lemon Chicken.

Sunday

This has got to be the most exciting day so far. My dad wanted to go to my lolo Bobby to personally ask him to be our priest sa wedding. (Yes, my lolo bobby's a priest -- as a matter of fact, he's the parish priest of the New Bilibid Prison! -- so that's where we were)

Chika chika lang muna sa house nya then he had to go kasi he had two masses daw. Sakto di pa kami nagsisimba. So we went. Eto catch! The first mass was at the maximum security prison of the bilibid; the second was medium security. He invited us to come. So we did. Pero may disclaimer sa first mass -- "amoy pusale dun!" -- sabi to ni lolo!

anyway, to make the long story short, we went. it was okay unlike what they portray sa movies... na rambol dito, etc. (yes may bading sa loob) the mass was very lively and kengkoy si lolo bobby.

and then when we got home, zayd finally replaced my not-so-old pioneer 6850 with my dream head unit alpine 9855 :) we also got the iPod connector working :)
